Name: Amanda Zebulon
Gender: Female
Studying: Grade 12 in 2021
Where: Kokoda College
From: Popondetta (but now lives with her family in Kou Kou and works, and studies, at the Kokoda College)

Amanda is KTF’s incredible Community Health Worker at the Kokoda College Aid Post, responsible for the health and wellbeing of the college students and the greater Kou Kou community. Amanda provides life-saving, critical primary healthcare to a large catchment region, dealing with communicable diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV, gender-based violence, child and maternal health, delivery of babies, and children’s vaccinations. Despite how busy she is, Amanda is also upgrading her education standard to Grade 12, which is the new minimum requirement for health workers if they want to upgrade their qualifications and train as nurses and nursing officers. This Amanda’s life-long dream and the first step is the Kokoda College.
