Oro Province (Home of KTF and the Kokoda Track) is home to the largest species of butterfly in the world – The Queen Alexandra’s Birdswing, with females reaching wingspans slightly in excess of 25 cm to 28 cm (9.8 inches to 11 inches).
The butterfly is the inspiration for KTF’s logo.
